Homeless Talk

Ongoing support includes financial contribution such as the sponsorship of bibs (that aid members in the sale of their newspapers) and exposure on Street Pole Ads. We remain committed to promoting this worthy initiative wherever opportunity allows during normal daily processes, and offer ongoing support on a strategic and conceptual level.

Rosebank Management District

B&B Markets has played a vital role in the development of Rosebank over the years, co-coordinating City Improvement District initiatives, promoting co-operation between Landlords in the interests of furthering a joint vision for Rosebank, and acting as a conduit between Landlords and Council. B&B Markets is represented as an active member on the District's Marketing Committee and also serves as a member of the current Community Liaison Forum for the Gautrain project in Rosebank.

Fire & Police Station

Over the years B&B Markets has established strong ties with local Fire and Police Stations - members of whom provide critical services to our communities, often without receiving the recognition due to them. We have assisted in promoting sponsorship, and provided sponsorship for initiatives such as the Fire Station's annual Christmas braai; and continue to drive ongoing campaigns to improve community awareness and involvement. Sponsorships to date also include Street Pole Ads and signage.

Shaun Rubenstein

Some 5 years ago B&B Markets recognised the passion, commitment and inherent talent of up-and-coming young paddler Shaun Rubenstein. We have provided financial sponsorship to aid in his development and are proud today to be one of the sponsors of the 2006 World K1 Marathon Champion! Shaun is currently training towards qualifying a K1 for South Africa at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

B&B Markets is one of the sponsors of the Soweto Canoe and Recreation Club - an exciting community development initiative that is creating opportunities for the youth of Soweto to access a better life through involvement in sporting activities.
